WOMEN'S CRICKET
Universities welcomed back a few more WBBL stars this week and it served them well, scoring their first win of the season in first grade. Sydney Sixers player Maddie Darke (85) was the standout with the bat, ably supported by Frankie Nicklin (58), as Universities piled in 205 runs. Despite Bankstown getting off to a great start in response, Universities were able to stem the flow of runs once they started taking wickets. Isabelle Arafas, back from WBBL duties with the Sydney Thunder, was sensational with the ball, taking 4/26. The Sixers' Stella Campbell (2/41) and Renegades' Carly Leeson (1/24) were also instrumental in the win.

Second Grade: Universities (124) lost to Manly-Warringah (210) by 86 runs
MEN'S CRICKET
With a slew of stars heading off to the MBBL, the UNSW first grade team held their nerve and held on for a draw against Fairfield-Liverpool, with the opposition unable to bowl them out in the allotted time period. Suffan Hassan (116) and Adrian Isherwood (113) did the majority of the damage on day two and the team provided them with plenty of support. On Thursday 10 December, the team will take on Sydney at Drummoyne Oval under lights at 6:30pm in the semi final of the Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup.

Third Grade: UNSW (198) defeated Fairfield-Liverpool (139) by 59 runs
Fourth Grade: UNSW (40) lost to Fairfield-Liverpool (131) by 91 runs
Fifth Grade: UNSW (169) defeated Fairfield-Liverpool (115) by 54 runs
GRIDIRON
Another week of rest for the UNSW Raiders, as both the men's and women's teams had byes this week after extreme heat cancellations the previous round. Next week both teams will be back in action with the men taking on Northern Sydney Rebels and the women looking to continue their undefeated season against Sydney Uni Lions.
