She Can is Arc Sport UNSW's women's sport and active recreation program - bringing together women from all over the University to enjoy being active in a safe and fun environment. It forms a key part of the participation pillar of the UNSW Women's Sport and Active Recreation Strategy.

Whether you're starting out in fitness or are already feeling fit and fab, She Can is a great way to make friends, have fun and get active within an inclusive, safe and comfortable environment.

If you want to a part of the team that grows this community and are keen to spread some support and encouragement this spring, then apply now to become a She Can Team Leader. Carrying on from the success from the previous term, in Term 3 Arc is once again bringing this space online for you all to enjoy and get you up and active from the comfort of your own home.

Key Dates + Information

When: 12 October- 6 November (wk 5 -wk 9) 

Where: Held online through a private Facebook page and private group chats 

Team Leader Duties include: 

  • 1-2 hours a week to participate in fun weekly challenges and events
  • Encourage and organise at least 1 group video call a week to encourage participants to keep engaged with the program 
  • Attend and participate in Team Leader meetings and trainings to help shaped the way She Can is run 

What do I get out of this program? 

The program offers a fun way for you to meet new people and be a part of a community that not only supports, but encourages and pushes you to reach your own health and fitness goals. It is also a great way to showcase and grow your leadership skills, and as an added bonus you and your team may win a prize at the end of it!
