About the Club Coaching Info Newsletter Links

e require that all members who are new to archery take a beginners course first before joining the club.  This is to ensure that you have the minimum knowledge necessary to enable you to shoot correctly and safely.  Beginners courses are also a great way to get a feel for archery as a sport.  Perhaps, you have always wanted to give archery a try but haven't known where to start.  With a beginners course, we supply all the equipment and coaching necessary to get you up and running.

Beginners courses are run as part of the UNSW Sports Association's Sport & Recreation program.  The cost is $35 (for UNSW students) which covers 4 hours of coaching run over two nights, and all the equipment you need to shoot (bows, arrows, protective gear).   Courses are running on Saturday from 5.30pm - 7.30pm at the UNSW Uni Gym.
